As noted, cruising has been our travel method of choice for several years.
While destination-specific photo groupings are listed elsewhere, this page will contain a list of photo albums for each individual cruise.
(Some cruises cover a number of different countries and localities, so expect there to be some overlap in the listings.)

The Pride of America (see below) was an important cruise, but the Pride of Hawai’i Inagural Cruise in 2006, was pretty special, too.
-
In 2005 we rode the Pride of America (static photo page) on her first voyage after leaving the shipyard in Germany. The cruise started in Miami, and, for us, ended in Los Angeles. (From there the ship headed to Hawai’i, where, as of 2024, she still visits the islands on a weekly basis.)
-
We had planned a cruise through the Panama Canal on the new Pride of America, (see above) but unfortunately, she sank at the construction dock. While she was being repaired, we found a Panama Canal transit on the RCCL Legend of the Seas around Christmas 2004.
-
We saw the regular cruise ship visits from the lanai of our house. Finally, we took the June 2003 Norwegian Star Cruise and the same cruise in December 2003
-
In 2000, we took an Alaska Trip that included multiple days on the Alaska State Ferry.
-
Our first serious cruise was in 1997 on the Star Clipper in the Caribbean. Great ship.
-
A special type of “cruise” was our River Trip on the Thames in 1993. The only “service” onboard was self-catered. Oh, yes, and we had to run the boat, too. A wonderful experience.
(Only one cruise remains, our first together in 1981. Needless to say, no photos and the memories are not good. We swore off cruising for many years after.)
