Roatan, 2019 Oceania Riviera Cruise
We had visited this island before, and took tours. A very interesting place.
When we first visited, the cruise ships docked at a concrete platform, and there was nothing around.
For this visit, we saw that there had been major construction and there is now a large, beautiful cruise facility (trying to keep the cruisers at the port). We encouraged our families to take a tour or cab and see some sights, but they just wanted to shop.
The shopping facilities were jumping, but the cruise port area is being upgraded with more construction yet. They seem to be putting in a new tie-up for yet more ships.
