Grand Canary Port Views, Spain

We enjoyed the fact that the cruise offered a variety of ports. For instance, we stopped at three of the Canary Islands. These photos are of the harbor at Grand Canary. There were many ships there, as this is a very busy port. Many of the ships were taking on fuel (bunkering), which is also common at Gilbraltar.

While many Americans would not know much about the Canary's, they are a major tourist destination for Europeans, especially in the winter.

This was the 2013 Maasdam cruise of the Mediterranean.
