U.S. Machine Cancel Identifier -- Krag Repeater

There are only a few examples of the Krag machine used in the United States. This machine was European in origin and was used throughout that part of the world. The machine was tested in 1907 in Washington, DC. It is unique looking, because the entire cancel (circle and horizontal bars) repeats across the envelope or card being cancelled.
