Iceberg in Prince Christian Sound
One of the most amazing experiences on the Voyage of the Vikings was our transit of Prince Christian Sound. This is a fjord in an accessible area of the Greenland coast, which can accomodate a cruise ship. Many times, there is too much ice for the ship to enter.
You will notice that some of the images are in black and white. Sometimes, the picture just seemed better in monochrome. The areas we saw of color, were often just small sections of wildflowers.
We had perfect weather, and took many photos of the glaciers reaching all the way down to the water. There were also many “hanging glaciers”. Overall, one of the best experiences of this cruise.
