D'Hanis, Texas

After chasing the 4014 train through Iowa in August, 2019, we didn't think we would see this great locomotive again soon. The good news was that the Union Pacific added more places to their publicity runs for the year. It turned out that we could see it again near San Antonio, Texas during early November 2019. We looked around the area and decided on D'Hanis, a very nice small town we had visited in the past.

These photos were taken in the old downtown area, where we had lunch before setting up our cameras along the tracks for the pass-by of the locomotive. The people of this small town were friendly and helpful.
