Nassau, Bahamas, 2019 Oceania Riviera Cruise

We started out the day relaxing on the Riviera in Nassau, Bahamas. This is the first time we have purposely stopped at this port. The only other time, was a diversion of our cruise ship, due to a medical emergency onboard.

However, today, we broke with "tradition" and walked around town a little bit. They were preparing for their big Holiday event, putting up bleachers for the big parade. Once we got past the sellers near the ship, the town settled down to more like what we expect of the simple, more relaxed Caribbean lifestyle.
