Saguaro Cactus
This album is made up of monochrome (black and white) photos I’ve created over the years.
In the beginning, all photos were monochrome. When I first started getting interested in photography in the late 1950’s, color was just too expensive for a teenager’s budget.
When digital cameras first appeared, it was great to have color for EVERYTHING.
But reality bites from time to time. Some color images just don’t work, but with some manipulation, they can become interesting monochrome photos.
Add to that, that some newer cameras offer an option to take photos directly to monochrome, and I’ve used that option in several situations.
