SR-71 TransSonic Aircraft, AirZoo
We’ve been to several air museums, including those in Dayton, Ohio, and near Tucson, Arizona. The AirZoo, near the Kalamazoo, Michigan Airport is very special. Always worth a stop.
B-57 Canberra --- Early jet bomber
Pratt and Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major (aka Corncob) --- Quite a challenge to perform maintenance on this complex piston engine
SR-71 --- The AirZoo is one of the few places to have a SR-71 hypersonic airplane

F4U Corsair --- A powerful WW II aircraft
F80 --- This very early jet fighter even flew in Italy near the end of WW II
F86 Sabre --- This jet fighter was used extensively in Korea
C47 Skytrain --- The workhorse of WW II was based on the DC-3 commercial aircraft
Tail of C47 with 'invasion' stripes --- Identified allied aircraft during D-Day time period
MG TD Sportscar --- (I wanted one of those!)
P47 --- Workhorse fighter in WW II
Radar Tower --- Kalamazoo Airport
Recovered Airplane Engine --- Part of the equipment at AirZoo (needs work)
SBD Dauntless --- Powerful Navy dive-bomber of WW II
T28 Trainer --- In Blue Angels color scheme
V-1 Unmanned --- Used to attack Allied cities and facilities in Europe
Waco Glider --- Used during D-Day invasion
