Users of the X Windows System on Linux or other
flavors of Unix can change their
cursors to any graphic they please. The
graphic has to be an "xbm" format. This page
contains links to the two bitmaps that you need.
Load each file from this page and save as text
Remove the first and last lines of each file that contain
the string "pre"
Finally, change
the name of each file to the value shown on the link on this
page.
To invoke the cursor under your X Window system,
you can enter the command:
xsetroot -cursor x.xbm xm.xbm
Remember, this cursor setup will only work
for the "root" window.
Get this file, edit, and change name to x.xbm
Get this file, edit, and change name to xm.xbm
