Permanently assigned to Vancouver Barracks.
These men did not take part in spruce logging operations, but were assigned to Vancouver Barracks for the duration of the War.
Note that they have rifles, since one of their roles was to keep the peace in the spruce logging areas, particularly against violent union activity.
