Once again, we are on an inaugural cruise. Last year (2005), it was the Pride of America through the Panama Canal. This year (2006), the Pride of Hawai'i, as she started out from Los Angeles with the first group of paying passengers, bound for a 12-day trip to Honolulu. After this voyage, she will make regular weekly trips around our beautiful islands.

This page points to several slide shows of photos taken in or near our ports of call. This was a special cruise, starting in Los Angeles (San Pedro, really), going up to San Francisco, and then taking 4 1/2 days to cross the Pacific to Kaua'i. We then made the more usual trip between the islands, visiting Hilo, Kona, Maui, and finally, O'ahu.
