Illegal Use of Foreign Stamp

2004-12-08T19:23:14-10:00

This is the image of a cover that was franked with a Jamaican stamp and went through the US postal system in 1920. Of course, foreign postage is rarely legal to use within the United States.

There is no evidence that this letter was intercepted by the Post Office.

I find these types of covers to be fascinating, and rarely miss a chance to add new items to my collection.
